About Revu

Revu is a client portal for freelance video editors and small studios. You send a cut through one private link; your client watches it, leaves feedback pinned to the exact timestamp, and approves a version in one click. Every round and every approval is on record.

Who builds Revu

Revu is built and run by Khalil Najar. Founder of Revu and a video editor based in Nice, France. Runs Naja Studio and built Revu to fix the feedback and approval chaos of client work.

He built Revu after losing too many hours to feedback scattered across email, WhatsApp and Drive comments, and to clients who “approved” a cut and then asked for changes. The product is shaped by that work: counted revision rounds, timestamped notes, and an approval that can be shown later.

Revu is not Bluebeam Revu

The name is shared by accident. Bluebeam Revu is PDF markup software for construction and engineering, made by Bluebeam, Inc. Revu at getrevu.co is an unrelated, independent product for video review and approval. The two companies have no connection, and the two products do different jobs.

What Revu does

  • Share a video review link your client opens without creating an account.
  • Collect feedback pinned to the exact frame, and keep versions in one place.
  • Count revision rounds against what the contract includes.
  • Record who approved which version, and when, with a certificate you can export.

Read how it compares in our Frame.io alternative for freelancers, or start with the free video editing contract template and revision policy template.
